For those who enjoy watching Terraria lets plays I made a small list of lets players you may or may not enjoy. I will link to you there First video in there series and I will try to give you a little more details about there channel.

Terraria How to Craft Molten Armor

Terraria Molten armor is the highest defense armor in the game so far. It usually will require good armor, and good amount of health before going in here as the enemy can be pretty tough to handle for lower to mid geared players.

Terraria How to Farm Obsidian

What is obsidian used for? To make a skull that prevents you from taking damage on fire blocks such as meteorites, hell stone. Also it is used to make hell stone bars at a cost of 6 hell stone, 2 obsidian per bar.

Also you can take a hell stone forge up to the surface by destroying the block under it.

Beating 2 Eye of Cthulhu's at the Same Time.

I am not sure if this is suppose to be like this, although it does add a good challenge. In order to face 2 eye of Cthulhu's you must use the strange eye after you see these words appear on your screen. You feel an evil presence is watching you. This as far as I know can only be done if you have 200 health or more. Basically when you see that message that means an eye of Cthulhu will spawn every night until you kill it.

Anyways here is the video versus 2 eye of Cthulhu's.

What kind of game is Terraria? The cost of Terraria

In my opinion it reminds me of Castlevania Symphony of the Night, and Minecraft. It seems in my opinion to have the following types of game play 2 rpg, hack and slash, Minecraft type building type style. (In case someone asks no I am not saying Terraria copied Minecraft because if you played both they are nothing alike.)

Also in case you are interested in the game You may buy it for $10 on Steam. However If you do plan to purchase the game I suggest buy it fast as Terraria will go up in price after a week or so.

Hats off to the Terraria team, My small review.

I have to say something I rarely get a chance to say about a game. This game is one of the few games i can say is near perfect. I rarely come across a game i do not get bored of after 5+ hours of playing the game. I am not sure if I am the only one who feels this way but congratulations for making a great game. "Terraria has certainly garnered a great deal of attention lately. What would you say is the most prevalent praise that you receive regarding the game concept?
Blue: We have seen a lot of praise towards our statement of making sure the game will continue to be updated with new and interesting additions over time. And that we want to take as much fan input as we can while doing so. Where did the idea of sidescrolling come in? Was this a simple programming decision, or does it pay homage to classic games?
Redigit: We are classic gamers ourselves, so it definitely brings us back to the old days when we had a desire to make a game just like the ones we were playing… but only better."

Terraria Release date confirmed, and Other Terraria News

The release date for Terraria is confirmed to be released some time in June 2011 and will be powered by Steam.
They will also be releasing system requirements before the game is released. On another note they have decided on a penalty for when you die, however we will not know as Blue said "And we've chosen the default death penalty just wait and see."

Terraria Release Date and Mod Support

Terraria has been confirmed by Blue to be released no later then July. It has also been confirmed there will be no Mod support for Terraria, however there might be texture packs for those who want the game Terraria to look different. The reason stated is that there would be little to no need for mods as there will be tons of content for Terraria upon release. They also stated that as long as there is a fan base supporting them they will continue to update the game of Terraria with new content.
